Job searching in 2025 can feel overwhelming—between AI-filtered resumes, competitive applications, and unclear hiring timelines, it’s easy to get stuck before you even start.

The good news? You don’t have to figure it out alone.
I’m sharing proven tools and resources that make the process less overwhelming—and way more effective.
Let’s simplify your job search and get you where you want to be..
Reminder: Your anxiety and feelings are valid!
It may not seem like it, but everyone experiences job search anxiety at some point. It is completely normal to feel unstable amid the chaos that is our job market. I strive to reduce anxiety as a career advisor. Let’s make moves forward in your Job Search with 3 steps:
1. Create a Plan to find a new Job
Having planned steps in place is the enemy of job search anxiety. You may not be ready to search just this moment. When you are ready, your plan will be waiting. Invest some time in future you. It can be tough to take the first step and create your plan, but it will pay off. If you need help creating your plan & following up to make sure you’re on track, setting aside dedicated time to think about your goals goes a long way. 2. Your Resume Matters
Confidence is key. Remind yourself about how far you’ve come to get to this point. What better reminder is there than a one page summary? Your resume isn’t just for others to see. It can help you remember the skills you gained along the way. As you’re filling in recent achievements, visualize expanding upon your experiences in your next challenge. Use language that aligns to your dream job with quantified impact. Each bullet on your resume should illustrate the dollars your work saved or earned the company. Use my Plan your Promotion – Work Impact Tracker to automate calculating the dollars your work created. An added bonus: you will be ready if any LinkedIn recruiter slides into your DMs with an interview offer.

Job offers, networking connections, and promotions can all come from your Linkedin. Sharing your professional brand will improve your long-term career success.
